Jude’s message is as relevant today for junior high students as it was for his original audience: “I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).
Why is this message so relevant? Because rather than contending for our faith, we contend for popularity, grades, athletic achievement, boyfriends, girlfriends, money, and possessions. Satan creeps in “unnoticed” (Jude 4) in these various ways and bombs our faith like a pilot flying an undetected stealth fighter.
